Yesterday was install day for the @shunpikearts st

Yesterday was install day for the @shunpikearts storefronts program. It was a super tight space so I bopped my head a few times on the lights and had to squish myself against the window, as well as climb into the planters, but I did it!I am especially grateful to @renhollyaster for helping me out and saving me a couple additional hours that I would've needed otherwise. She also took all the pics!It feels so good to finally show my RAW project that asks us to rethink what beauty could look like if we viewed ourselves and other women outside the patriarchal gaze. I see beauty as complexity, depth, vulnerability, and rawness, which these women demonstrate for us through their unfiltered, unsmiling portraits, and their accompanying poems.What does beauty look like to you?

We had such a great turnout today for the Artist Grant Roundtable at @thefishbowlseattle (few not pictured).We heard from @rya.wu.art who shared some great tips that helped her get the GAP grant.
