Opening Reception of Have You Eaten

The opening reception of Have You Eaten Meryenda at Kasama Space in Pioneer Square well attended, including by my family whom you can get a peek of in the image above (hint: teen on phone)! With music, Asian snacks and drinks and lots of art, it was a lively event to explore the Asian American experience and the multitude of ways we process our identities and sense of belonging. The exhibit featured paintings, digital artworks, sculptures, photography and more.
